My weekend 12/8-12/9
December 9th, 2007I had a ton of fun this weekend. Friday night was simply a day of rest, since I knew that Saturday and Sunday were going to be long days. Saturday morning I did the usual and hit the gym. I got a call from my friend Wallace that he would be up in the city around 3pm. Wallace was coming to the city for two main reasons: 1. to meet Patrick Ma (founder of Rocketworkd and T.A.D. Gear) and 2. to attend Jenn’s party.
After dropping off a ton of clothing at Goodwill we picked up Wallace at Caltrans and headed to Rocketworld. It is located in a very cool looking building in the southern half of San Francisco. I was surprised when I first walked into Patrick’s place. I had assumed it would be a small artist’s loft, but as it turns out, it’s a very large space where Patrick sells all of his awesome T.A.D. Gear and his Rocketworld art. I can’t tell you how awesome and kind Patrick was. He not only signed all of the pieces we bought (they are in the slide show below), but talked to us for over two hours, and gave us a complete tour of his studio, and even recommended an amazing restaurant. I cannot thank Patrick enough for everything, and I ask that everyone please support him, by clicking here. Thank you so much Patrick, you will definitely be seeing us again!
Later that night we attended a party thrown by Jenn after Sunny made his way up to the city. It was a ton of fun! She was kind enough to host it at her place (which is pretty darn awesome). Everyone had a great time, there was dancing, falling down, someone sleeping on the couch in the middle of it all and some very interesting and different beers. Thank you Jenn for the great time.
When we finally woke up on Sunday, sometime around 12pm, we headed to Ramp in south San Francisco for bunch. Though the view was spectacular, the food was only mediocre and the service was terrible. However, the company more then made up for it. I have included a slideshow with pics of the weekend. I am working on a flash photo program, please bare with me until I get it working perfectly.
